Preschoolers from my friends synagogue were asked what President Obama’s job was. These were their answers.

Hannah: To protect the people.

Reagan: He helps people.

Stella: He helps people drive cars.

Matan: He does work to get money to give to the people who don’t have money.

Ugh, when I was an adorable small child, I also believed everything my mom told me about politics. That doesn’t make it true or good or ethical. It’s a reflection of the state of psychological infancy one’s moral and intellectual reasoning is in at that age.

At least they didn’t exploit the cuteness of the kids, I guess. Though I really wish they would spend their time actually educating and nurturing these children, rather than exploiting their ignorance and cute rhetoric.

I support President Obama because he is the only candidate that realizes that the only way to bring Americans out of poverty and lower unemployment in the long run is to invest in education. One way to do that is to pass the DREAM ACT now. Mitt Romney is against the DREAM ACT, need I say more?

Really, I’m normally impressed by the Obama campaign (empirically fantastic strategy), but I’m really having trouble understanding the point of rallying the political non-voters on the Internet; the political non-voters as a whole won him the election in 2008, but that’s because they did actual campaigning, you know, outside… in the physical world.

Why do I turn on the news? They just said Obama beats Romney 50/44, Santorum 53/40, Gingrich 52/37, and then Paul 50/52. First off, that [last total] equals 102%. Secondly, that shows Paul ahead by 2%…

In my recent bouts of rage against people who aren’t libertarian, I almost forgot how much I loathe libertarians. 

Wow, someone actually scrolled all the way down my ‘About me’ page and posted a picture of one of my shirts. Someone’s good at skimming and trolling, but not so good at economics.

Originally, there was a snarky comment crediting me, but when I initially tried to reblog it, it mysteriously disappeared. Not really sure why, but I’m sure the two unread messages I have will answer that question… Ugh, I don’t even troll the marxists and they’re coming after me…

Edit: I’m an Economics major being criticized by a Philosophy major about economics. That is all.
